Ilker "IKE" Bayraktar
President & CEO

 

Mr. Bayraktar is the founder of Electricore Inc., and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors, the Treasurer, and President & CEO for this organization.  Mr. Bayraktar served as a member of the Board, Board of Directors, I-Power Technologies (2001-2003) which was a joint venture of Delco Remy America, Detroit Edison, Hydro Quebec and AeroVironment. Mr. Bayraktar is a member of the Board, Board of Directors; AV-SRL ( an Italian Aerospace, Alternative Energy and Transportation Technologies Manufacturing and Distribution Company which is 100% owned by AeroVironment Inc.).
 

Mr. Bayraktar was formerly the Corporate Vice President of AeroVironment, Inc., and served in different capacities as the Executive -In- Charge of Marketing, Sales, Product Line Management & Product Development, and International Initiatives.  Mr. Bayraktar also leads and supports activities such as Technology Development Excellence, Establishing Strategic Relationships, Competitive Analysis, International and Domestic Market Development, New Venture Development and facilitates leveraging diversified resources and organizations toward the achievement of Electricore and its participant's long term vision and objectives.
 

Mr. Bayraktar is a U.S. Citizen and Retired United States Navy Reserve Officer - Commander - (SELRES) with the decorations of Navy Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation (3), Navy Achievement Medal (3), National Defense Medal (2) and Naval Reserve Medal.  Mr. Bayraktar holds a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Turkish Naval Academy in Istanbul, Turkey.

Sara Odom
Executive Director 

 
Mrs. Odom joined Electricore in 2009 and currently serves as the Executive Director and Finanace Manager.  She is responsible for a wide variety of functions including maintaining customer relations, preparing reports and financial data, preparation and submittal of invoices, payment processing, managing and retaining client files, and many additional projects and responsibilities. Her responsibilities include: Develop new business through the development of teams, technology ideas and proposal writing, assist in managing contracts/subcontracts, schedules, budgets, and technical performance of projects, develop and track project schedules including milestones, deliverables, etc., monitor project budgets and interface with government and subcontractor finance personnel, author project budgets, schedules, technical status reports and other contractually required documents and assist Financial Manager with project invoicing and contract required documentation for U.S. Department of Defense, Energy, Transportation, and other federal and state entities. Before joining Electricore, Mrs. Odom served as the Administrative and Marketing Coordinator for a transportation consulting firm focused on transit planning and operations. There she provided assistance to both the Marketing Director and Account Representatives. She was charged with a number of tasks including production and coordination of marketing plans, Transit surveys, and proposal development for clients throughout the Western United States, as well as preparation of presentations, competitive analysis, customer outreach, and general promotion of the firm. Mrs. Odom holds an M.B.A., Marketing, and B.S.B.A., Marketing both from California State University, Northridge.

Kathy Fagundo
Program Manager

 

Mrs. Fagundo has over 30 years of experience managing projects in the government, technology, and education sectors. She is responsible for new program development, including team formation, technical writing, and team meeting management. Provides continuing program management, including scheduling, team communication, resource planning, and reporting. Prior to joining Electricore in 2021, she served as the Director of ThinkSuite and implemented administrative and instructional projects benefiting over 25,000 students and 1,200 staff members in thirteen charter schools. Mrs. Fagundo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics from Azusa Pacific University.
