Electricore bridges the gap between industry and government addressing important technology issues.
Since its inception, Electricore has had a successful history of collaboration with the departments of Defense, Energy and Transportation in the development, demonstration and deployment of advanced technologies. Electricore has managed over 100 multi-partnered research programs ultimately involving several hundred industry, university and government entities with over $250 million in federal projects. This base provides members and sponsors with services that include technical consulting, technology assessment, competitive analysis and design review.
Electricore enables and supports its participant organizations to advance the current state-of-the-art technologies by planning and coordinating mutually beneficial research and development activities with public agencies. Electricore further assists its participants with services including administrative program management, financial and accounting, procurement, subcontract administration, information control, meeting coordination and internal/external communications. Electricore also serves as an important partner in new business development efforts.
Through an Electricore managed program, public agencies are assured an efficient use of funding with maximum results. Focus on job creation and economic growth is part of every Electricore cooperative research, development, and deployment project.
Of paramount importance to government agencies, industry and Electricore, is our national security. Projects and proposals dealing with alternative fuels, electrification of vehicles, efficient transportation systems, reliability of military equipment and energy independence are a few examples of technologies being developed to support our national security efforts. The protection of our men and women of the armed forces is also a driver behind many multi-partner efforts managed by Electricore.
