Ilker "IKE" Bayraktar
President & CEO

Mr. Bayraktar is the founder of Electricore Inc., and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors, the Treasurer, and President & CEO for this organization.  Mr. Bayraktar served as a member of the Board, Board of Directors, I-Power Technologies (2001-2003) which was a joint venture of Delco Remy America, Detroit Edison, Hydro Quebec and AeroVironment. Mr. Bayraktar is a member of the Board, Board of Directors; AV-SRL ( an Italian Aerospace, Alternative Energy and Transportation Technologies Manufacturing and Distribution Company which is 100% owned by AeroVironment Inc.).

Mr. Bayraktar was formerly the Corporate Vice President of AeroVironment, Inc., and served in different capacities as the Executive -In- Charge of Marketing, Sales, Product Line Management & Product Development, and International Initiatives.  Mr. Bayraktar also leads and supports activities such as Technology Development Excellence, Establishing Strategic Relationships, Competitive Analysis, International and Domestic Market Development, New Venture Development and facilitates leveraging diversified resources and organizations toward the achievement of Electricore and its participant's long term vision and objectives.

Mr. Bayraktar is a U.S. Citizen and Retired United States Navy Reserve Officer - Commander - (SELRES) with the decorations of Navy Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation (3), Navy Achievement Medal (3), National Defense Medal (2) and Naval Reserve Medal.  Mr. Bayraktar holds a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Turkish Naval Academy in Istanbul, Turkey.

Deborah Jelen
Executive Director

As Executive Director, Deborah Jelen is the Chief Operating Officer with general charge and supervision of the conduct of the ordinary business of the Corporation.   Ms. Jelen's experience includes over twenty five years of program and product management roles in the defense, aerospace, automotive and alternative energy marketplaces.  Her experience includes leadership roles with AeroVironment, Hughes Aircraft Company and Olin Aerospace's Rocket Research Company.  Ms. Jelen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from University of Southern California

Ian Wood
Director of Programs

As Director of Programs, Ian Wood is responsible for the management and coordination of all active Electricore projects as well as leads new business development activities for the company.  He currently manages multiple projects with private and public companies, universities, and government agencies as well as conducts new business development, including identifying new business opportunities, teaming formation, qualifying funding sources, proposal leadership, proposal preparation and submission, and guiding project negotiations.  Ian has a B.A. in Earth and Planetary Science from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.  Prior to joining Electricore, Mr. Wood was a Captain in the United States Army 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Field Engineer with Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Kyle Morris
Program Manager

As Program Manager Kyle Morris, is responsible for managing multiple projects with private and public companies, universities, and government agencies with an emphasis on alternative energy and military focused programs. Throughout all phases of a program: proposal, contract negotiations, and program maintenance; Mr. Morris serves as a point of contact between sponsoring agency representatives, participants and critical subcontractors for all administrative actions. He is also responsible for developing and tracking project schedules including milestones and deliverables, interfacing with project contractors and subcontractors, as well as authoring and managing periodic program reports regarding schedule, budgets and technical performance. He is also responsible for identification and acquisition of new business opportunities through proposal development, proposal submission, qualifying funding sources, proposal leadership, and project negotiations. Mr. Morris holds a B.S., in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University. Prior to joining Electricore, Inc. Mr. Morris worked as the Director of Infrastructure & Renewable Energy for Sun Ranch Group and as a Production Manager for a small equipment company. Mr. Morris proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, Holding the rank of Sergeant. His experience includes a tour of duty in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom as the Assistant Team Leader of a reconnaissance team.

Kodie Arnold
Program Administrator

As Program Administrator, Kodie Arnold is responsible for general program performance of all contracted and proposed projects.   Responsibilities include support and implementation of project documentation; report compilation, review and submittal; financial tracking and invoicing support; all areas of proposal development; and support of general administration. Before joining the Electricore team, Ms. Arnold worked as a coordinator with the Tournament Players Club at Valencia. Ms. Arnold holds a BA in English Literature from California State University, Northridge and is working towards a Masters in Public Administration.

Sara Elton
Office Administrator

As the Office Administrator, Sara Elton is responsible for wide variety of functions including maintaining customer relations, preparing reports and financial data, preparation and submittal of invoices, processing participant payments, managing and retaining client files, and many additional projects and responsibilities. Prior to joining the Electricore team, Sara worked as an Administrative and Marketing coordinator for a small consulting firm. Ms. Elton holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge and is working towards completing a Masters, Business Administration.
